City Garden Hotel Celebrates the Festive Season in its Party House

Perfect Choice for Family and Company Christmas Party

As Christmas draws closer, party organisers and families will be busy finding restaurants that cater for their discerning guests, and now City Garden Hotel offers a perfect solution for guests – Garden Café will be transformed to an impeccable “Party House” and will present a fun and interactive dining experience to welcome this Christmas and New Year.


Host a merry feast amid plentiful metallic balloons, delectable party food, drinks and scrumptious buffetin this perfect “Party House” atGarden Café. Donate and join the “Tomica World” fun land will mean a lot to South China Morning Post’s Operation Santa Claus 2016 as all the proceeds from its sales will be donated to charity. Furthermore, guests can enjoy early bird discounts up to 20% off for pre-paid bookings before 12 December.


Executive Chef has prepared a host of eye-catchy party foods, delightful specialities and festive desserts. Party food favouritesinclude Prawn Skewers with Parma Ham; Pan-fried Crab Cakes; Mini Wagyu Beef Burger; Lobster Salad with Mango Vol-au-vent; Scallop Tartar in Mini Cucumber Cup; Grilled Nürnberger Sausage with Caramelised Onion; Quiche Lorraine; Roasted Chicken Wings with Mustard and Honey Sauce; Parma Ham Pancake rolled with Mango and Avocado; Norwegian Smoked Salmon Mousse Mini Puff; and Layered Focaccia with Salami, Cream Cheese and Herbsand more.


For lunch, the restaurant has prepared a Slow-cooked Turkey Breast with Cumin. Marinated overnight with cumin, celery and onion, the turkey is then slow-cooked for three hours, allowing the meat to remain moist and tender while the sprinkling of cumin gives an added peppery bite. 


Garden Café, renowned for its six food stations, will be presenting a mouth-watering selection of Prawns; Sea Whelks; and New Zealand Mussels;while Tempura; Stir-fried Prawns with Garlic and Chili; Thai-style Stir-fried Musselsare among the hot dishes’ highlights. During buffet dinner,Crab Legs; French Crab; Lamb Rack and a Teppanyaki station will be available as well.


A Twist to the Traditional Holiday Roast   

During dinner, the Gruyère cheese-layered Turkey, gives a twist to the traditional holiday roast.  Layered generously with Swiss cheese between the skin and meat; it is meticulously cooked until melted and served with home-made Turkey gravy and cranberry sauce, making it a truly indulgent treat. Other not-to-be-missed dishes include Pan-seared Foie Gras on Toast topped with Balsamico Sauce; Beef Tenderloin and Tomato Skewers with Manuka Honey; Peking Duck Pizza; Deep-fried Turkey Dumpling with Cranberry Sauce; and Honey Glazed Smoked Ham and Pineapple Skewers with Gold Leaf.


As the piece-de-resistance, the Executive Chef will be offering one of these all-time favourites every night: Freshly-steamed Seafood Tower; Portuguese-style Suckling Pig; Spanish Paella; and Steamed Prawns with Fresh Garlics, servedon rotational basis.


Guests will be tempted to dig in an array of decadent chocolate desserts especially prepared for the festive season including Pomelo Chocolate Pudding; Green Tea Chocolate Opera; and Tiramisu. Dinner buffet guests can further complement the sumptuous buffet with unlimited refill of beer and soft drinks.

Santa Claus is ready to delight the guests over Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day with balloon twisting sessions.


“Tomica World” fun land 

As Christmas is a time to spread warmth and to give, City Garden Hotelinvites guests to participate in the “Tomica World” fun land while raising funds for South China Morning Post’s Operation Santa Claus 2016. By simply donating a minimum of HK$40 per person, kids can not only enjoy playing in the “Tomica World” fun land but they can also take home a Tomica toy car. 


Early-bird offer and party discount

Guests can enjoy a 20% discount for these delectable buffets by booking and paying in full before 12 December. For parties of 20 persons or more, guests can further enjoy a further 8% discount throughout the festive period.
